UCM/Ethernet is the interface which is connected to the Local Area Network and is used for uploading and downloading programmed configurations to Comfort using the Comfigurator software (downloadable from Software). This also includes a RS232 interface selectable by jumper.

The UCM/Ethernet includes the IR Learner which is used to learn Infrared codes from any handheld remote control, for later transmission from any output connected to an IR Transmitter (IR01W). The IR Learner software is included in Comfigurator. To use the  IR Learner, the RS232 interface is selected.

The UCM/Ethernet consists of a UCM05 and the ETH01 module

The AUD01 is another plug-in module which can be added toUCM05 or UCM/Ethernet to provide audio for third party software which emulates the keypad voice and microphone

The UCM/Etherner includes an EEPROM IC containing the default configuration which can be transferred to Comfort or copied to another EEPROM on board the UCM
