4G/LTE GSM Module for Cytech Comfort — SMS Alerts, Remote Control & Voice Calling over 4G
UCMA/4G7608 — Baseboard with A7608 4G/LTE submodule
The UCMA/4G7608 adds a full 4G/LTE cellular connection to any Cytech Comfort alarm panel. Whether you need a backup path when the phone line fails, or you want to run without a fixed line entirely, the UCMA/4G7608 handles alarm dialout, live SMS notifications, and remote SMS control — all over 4G.
Full voice calls over the 4G LTE network (VoLTE). Works on networks where 3G has been discontinued — future-proof for any carrier.
Alarm events are sent immediately to authorised mobile phones with a time stamp, location name, alarm type, and zone or user name.
Authorised users can arm or disarm the security system by SMS — from anywhere in the world. Each phone has independent permissions.
Query and control Comfort outputs, appliances, and devices via simple SMS commands. Control menus are fully customisable.
Automatically dials via GSM when the landline fails or is cut. Or configure it as the sole dialler — no fixed line required.
Automatically synchronises your Comfort panel's date and time from an SNTP internet time server at configurable intervals.
When Comfort triggers an alarm, the UCMA/4G7608 sends an SMS to all authorised phones. Each message includes the time, your site identifier, the alarm type, and the zone or user name — so you know exactly what happened and where.

Send simple SMS commands to arm, disarm, or control any device in your Comfort system. Commands are enclosed in parentheses — e.g. (11) to arm Away, (10) to disarm, (4) to open the Home Control menu. Each phone number has independent permissions for arm, disarm, and control.

All UCMA/4G7608 settings — phone numbers, zone names, alarm names, custom messages, and security modes — are programmed using the Cytech Comfigurator software and written to the module's EEPROM. No cloud account or app required.

The UCMA/4G7608 supports full two-way voice calls using VoLTE (Voice over LTE). Unlike older GSM modules, it does not rely on the 3G voice band — it works on any modern carrier that has retired 3G.
Comfort automatically dials via GSM when the landline voltage is low (indicating a cut or fault) or when a dial tone is not obtained. When the landline is restored, dial-outs revert automatically.
Dial the SIM card's number to access Comfort's voice menus remotely. Comfort answers immediately and prompts for your user code. Disconnection is detected instantly — faster than a fixed line.
